Before the first-time use, we suggest rinsing the fountain thoroughly with boiled water to ensure better performance.
The on/off button on the power cord is only to turn the blue light on or off.
The pet fountain is dishwasher safe, but the pump, filter, and sponge parts should be removed before washing.
