The red, blinking green, and constant green LED lights indicate the battery charging status. The indicator does not display the sensor or timed mode while the fountain is charging.

When using the fountain for the first time, it is recommended to charge it with a 5V adapter for 3-5 hours to ensure the fountain can operate for an extended period on a full charge.

The sensor mode releases fresh water for 15 seconds when a cat approaches the sensor area (80 inches), while the timed mode automatically releases water every 15 minutes.

It is advised to change the filter every 1-2 weeks for optimal performance. The water fountain requires a water level of at least 2/3 of its capacity (500ml) to function properly.
